The school colour, symbolizes the vitality of the growth of our students in their intellectual and physical development, and the unwavering awareness and preparedness of the school to help every students attain this end. |
YELLOW |
Represents the transfer and perpetuation of knowledge, wisdom and ethics from the teachers to the students. |
BROWN |
The symbol of perseverance, denotes the earnestness and readiness of our students to always try
their utmost best in the pursuit and attainment of excellence in all their present and future undertakings. |
- The name of the school is derived from the names of the nearby Tapang River anf the Tapang Tree, a common, but the most famous tree in the vicinity.
- Like the perpetual flow of waters of the Tapang River which, renews life in its basin, the school symbolizes education (during and beyond the schooling years) as a continual, unending process, and the source of enlightment and self-actualization.
- The majestic immensity and the beauty of the Tapang Tree with its upright towering trunk exploding into cascades of luxuriant foliage, and its multi utilitarian uses signify the school's role in providing all-round education to enable every student to become good, responsible, disciplined, loyal, productive and proactive citizens serving and contributing to the community, country and nation in their respective stations in life.
